At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Provide an overview of fire safety legal requirements for both employers and employees.

• Understand the dangers of scrap yard fires.

• Understand how fire can start and spread as well as the risks and hazards associated with fire and smoke.,

• Identify fire prevention measures and techniques.

• Understand extinguisher safety and how to identify fires and their corresponding extinguisher.

• Understand evacuation and safety procedures.

• Identify fireproof PPE, as well as its use, storage and maintenance.

• Understand the role and duties of a fire warden.

This course will take approximately 2  hours to complete, and is comprised of 63 slides, including videos and quizzes.
