The catalytic converter is regarded as the most profitable part of an end-of-life vehicle. This course ensures delegates are familiar with the precautions, hazards, methods and tooling for cutting and removing catalytic converters from vehicle exhaust systems.

There are various hydraulic systems present in modern vehicles, so this course ensures that delegates are familiar with the hazards and risks associated with extracting and storing used hydraulic fluids from an ELV, typically found in braking, clutch and suspensions systems.

Most people do not realise how toxic antifreeze and screen wash really is. This course teaches how to safely recover and store these vehicle fluids and ensures that delegates have a solid understanding of all associated hazards and risks.

ELV depollution can create large volumes of hazardous substances that need to be handled and stored safely and appropriately. This course is designed to ensure delegates understand the requirements associated with the safe storage of hazardous materials and substances, after they have been extracted from an ELV.
