About the Course
Technicians working with alternative fuelled LPG powered cars and vans must be able to safely recover or flare the fuel from an ELV. This course teaches delegates how to do it safely.
You will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of components and system operations to carry out procedures relating to LPG.
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and common procedures associated with the operation of LPG recovery and LPG flaring; two ways to remove LPG from an alternatively powered ELV.
Demonstrate how to handle, couple and uncouple an LPG cylinder (gas bottle) to the recovery machine and the flaring torch.
Connect and disconnect a recovery set or flaring torch to a vehicle's LPG Tank.
Safely operate an LPG recovery unit and a flaring torch.
