Full Description:

A battery does not store electricity; it stores the chemical energy necessary to produce electricity. This course is all about lead acid batteries. How they work, the hazards, the risks, and just as importantly, how to safely handle and store them.

At the end of this course, delegates will be able to efficiently identify the common locations for battery placement within vehicles and be able to recognise and isolate the electrical terminals safely. Furthermore, learners will be able to safely remove, handle and appropriately store the battery in preparation for recycling.
