At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Provide a definition of what is meant by an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF).

• Highlight the fundamental legal responsibilities of ATFs.

• Demonstrate the process for compliantly destroying a vehicle at the end of its operating life.

• Understand who needs to be informed when a vehicle has been destroyed.

• Explain when a Certificate of Destruction and when a Certificate of Notification must be issued.

• Highlight the differences between the DVLA Online system and the paper-based alternative.

This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete, and is comprised of 50 slides, including videos and quizzes.
