At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Appreciate the importance of adhering to safe work practices whilst at work.

• Identify the differences between a hazard and a risk.

• Understand what types of controls need to be adopted to reduce and manage risk in the workplace.

• Apply the hierarchy of control to manage risk effectively in the workplace.

• Highlight both employer and employee responsibilities in relation to workplace risk management.

• Appreciate the importance of regular maintenance, equipment inspections, wearing appropriate PPE, and adhering to safe working methods.

This course will take approximately 45 minutes to complete, and is comprised of 50 slides, including videos and quizzes.
