Diesel Exhaust fluid (DEF) has become one of the most important substances in the transport industry after diesel fuel. It is essential for the operation of some diesel vehicles and is used within the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system in modern diesel engines. This system was been developed to help reduce air pollution created by modern vehicles and to meet Euro VI emissions legislation.
